The underglaze blue with highlights in mangenese purple, consists of plantform scrolls and a central pad with a crown and GR.  It has the number 3 incised close to the handle junction. The jug does not have it's pewter cover, just the single hole where one formerly hinged. The top has some abrasions where the cover once made contact. The only damage is an extremly faint hairline from the rim. circa 1760/70.
