Description
Roman bronze brooch in the image of an antelope. Pin is intact but fixed. Age: 100-400 A.D. Found in Balkans. Condition: Intact, no repairs or restoration.  Dimensions: 32mm high X 38mm wide  Weight:  10 grams About me:  It all started for me in 1966-68 when I served as a Navy Journalist aboard the USS SPRINGFIELD (CLG-7) homeported in Villefranche-Sur-Mer on the southern coast of France. I bought coins & artifacts from coin dealers and antique shops in every country surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.  I have been collecting Roman and Greek artifacts and  silver coins for over 40 years, with a special interest in the "oddest things".  I explore the Mojave Desert in Southern California for gold, turquoise, dino footprints, tar pit fossils, meteorites and solitude....    Every artifact I offer is presented with at least 2 photos from different aspects, dimensions in millimeters, weight in grams and the best description I can give without the use of superlatives.  I refuse to puff my descriptions. PayPal preferred. Worldwide bidders MUST have PayPal. US BIDDERS: Shipping is $7 and each additional win ships for $1 more.  I ship all paid wins Monday morning by insured Priority Mail. WORLDWIDE BIDDERS: Shipping is $8 for each win. Multiple wins ( three or more) will be shipped with insurance. After three wins, additional wins ship free. Please note: I am taking a risk shipping to what PayPal calls "unconfirmed addresses". That's YOU. You are protected by PayPal, but as a seller, I am not. Please give the Post Office time to deliver your win BEFORE filing a claim with PayPal. The Post Office says International First Class Mail could take as much as a month. Sure, most shipments take less than 2 weeks,  but if it takes longer, don't blame me: I notify every winner when I ship, and I ship the morning after payment.    My guarantee is simple: If you're not satisfied in every way, simply return within 30 days for full refund, including shipping costs.
