According to the owner and collector is this KYLIX made around 325 BC. This DOUBLE HANDLED KYLIX is unusually decorated with PIGEONS GEOMETRIC PATTERNS, TENDRILS, FLOWERS and the details painted in white, brown and yellow, this example is quite RARE and exquisite. The bowl measures 10.5cm (4.13 inch) in Diameter, is 8.6cm (3.39 inch) high, it is 17.5cm (6.89 inch) across the handles, and the foot is 6.8cm (2.68 inch) in diameter, this RARE example is masterfully formed, the colors are bright and vibrant with only minimal loss of color and is completely intact I can see no cracks or restorations it has great deposits with incandescence highlights, the paint is exceptional well preserved. All in all is this a stunning masterpiece. This KYLIX comes from the private collection of an Italian innkeeper and would demand attention in a fine collection.
