The feet are wonderful birds possibly vultures? or Ravens. It looks like originally highly decorated but hard to see now. On the bottom near a leg in light pencil are initials?  and the date 1954. My friend says he thinks it is a Mayan grit tempered red ware pot.?  I actually have no idea of its actual value or age, not finding a pot like this in my research.  As with my other listing if you have any questions I might be able to answer or information I can share with others about this wonderful pot please contact me.
