Description
This is a very well modeled stirrup spout bowl, dating to circa 1100-1300 AD and would be classified as Chimu-Inca. It measures 7" in height and is 5-1/2" in length. Side to side it measures 2-3/4". It depicts a monkey holding food in his hands, evidently about to eat. Intact and in excellent condition, safe for a tiny bit of roughness around the tip of the spout.
