It is the earliest accordion design still being made. It has one-row of ten buttons and 4 pull stops on the other end. It still has the original German brand "Pitzschlers, Universal" written but faded on its body, as well as the name of the American company which imported it from Germany to the United States, "C. Bruno & Son, American Agents, New York". Please see the pictures below. This accordion also has two metallic plaques with the written texts "Steel Reeds" and "Made in Germany". A logotype of the German company can be seen engraved on the wood (please, see pictures).
