There are no dents, dings, scratches, corrosion or discolorations on this very unique beer stein. This is a lovely item, sure to bring joy to its new owner.  **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The winner of this auction will receive the fabulous beer stein shown in the photos. This item has a lovely aged patina on the outside scenes. The inside has a sparkling shiney finish. This stein features 3 panels with different scenes. The 3 scenes all feature Wirtshaus themed images. The first scene shows a gentleman and lady talking over a rustic wood fence. The gentleman is smoking a long neck pipe. Beneath this scene there is a banner that says: JUNG GEFREIT HATNOCHNIEMALS GEREUT. The second scene shows a gentleman sitting on a rustic wooden bench. A lady sits upon his lap. He is holding up a goblet as if in making a toast. The lady is holding a pitcher. There is a small scruffy dog barking at the ladies feet.  Beneath this scene there is a banner that says: JUNGES MADCHEN ALTER WEIN DAS IST DES LEBENS SONNENSCHEIN. The third scene features a gentleman and lady dancing outdoors. There is another gentleman sitting over to the side playing a lap top instrument. Beneath this scne there is a banner that says: LUSTIG IN EHREN KANN NIEMAND WEHREN. All of these scenes have ornate detail. They are all seperated by gorgeous trees in full bloom. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Above these scenes is the following verse: WER NICHT LIEBT WEIN WEIB UND GESANG BLEIBT EIN NARR SEIN LEBEN LANG The lid on this stein is quite pretty. It reminds me of a royal crown. Layer upon layer of different motifs leading up to a pretty finial at the top. TRUELY SPECTACULAR!  The handle is heavy and sturdy. It is smooth with little detail. The base is wide and flares out at the edge. It features a lovely band with a floral motif. The flip on the lid is tall and also features a floral style motif. This item will be a very appreciated treasure for its new owner. The pictures just doesn't do it justice.
