DESCRIPTION: This is a very pretty and unique beer stein. The inlay depicts a continual wild life scene.  The scene consists of a pack of hunting dogs chasing some wild boar and deer. The detail on the animals is incredible. They are running through a grassy field. 2 hunters with bugles are calling in the hounds. There is a second scene that shows 2 beautiful birds sitting on branches of an oak tree. There are many leaves and acorns. Incredible detail! The top of this stein is FABULOUS! It is detailed with a circular ribbed style motif. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The handle is large and sturdy. It is ornately detailed with a floral motif. The flip on the lid is quite pretty. There is a daisy like flower at the top. Around the base of this gorgeous stein, it is detailed with a scalloped edge. MAGNIFICENT! There is a dark aged patina on the outside, the inside is polished and shiney, though there are some stains. This may come off with some polish and tlc. Just under the rim, there is a band of smooth polished pewter suitable for engraving to commemorate that special occasion or holiday. See photos! This stein will be a treasure for its new owner. MANUFACTURER MARKINGS: The markings on the bottom of this stein says:  SKS DESIGN. There is an icon of a crowned rosebud surrounded by a circle. This is all framed by a coat of arms style border. There is also a green circular sticker with the same crowned rosebud icon in the center.
