It would be a very unique addition to the pewter lovers collection. This stein is gorgeous and is in gently used condition. There are some very minor surface markings, but nothing that takes away from the beauty, function or appearance of this magnificent stein. There are no scratches, corrosion or discolorations on this very beautiful German Pewter beer stein.  **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The winner of this auction will receive the lovely beer stein shown in the photos. This is an absolutely gorgeous beer stein. This beer stein has a Frühling or Spring theme. The first scene shows a group of children relaxing in a flower garden. One boy is playing a flute style instrument to a little girl. There is a puppy jumping up on the little girls back. There is another boy laying in the flowers. Gorgeous detail! The second scene shows a gentleman and lady relaxing in a meadow with a small flock of sheep. The gentleman is playing a flute. The third scene shows 2 women and a group of children picking flowers. One of the ladies is holding a wreath. There is a young lamb with bells around it's neck looking up at one of the ladies. Incredible detail in all 3 scenes! The top of this stein is quite ornate. The lid is flat and polished across the top. There is a wide band with a very ornate fleur de lis style motif. Please see photos! There is a smooth band just under the lid suitable for engraving to commemorate that special occasion or holiday. The handle is large and sturdy. It is decorated with a ribbed style motif. The flip on the lid is tall and knob shaped. It is also detailed with a ribbed style motif. Very Pretty! The base of this stein flares out at the edge and has the same ornate fleur de lis style motif as the lid. Please see photos! This stein will be a very appreciated treasure for it's new owner.
