There are no dents, dings, scratches, corrosion or discolorations on this very unique beer stein. This is a lovely item, sure to bring joy to it's new owner.  **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The winner of this auction will receive the fabulous beer stein shown in the photos. This item has a lovely aged patina on the outside scenes. The inside, around the brim and the lid is polished, and has a sparkling shiney finish. This item features 3 panels each decorated with a different scene. The first scene shows a farm worker harvesting the hops to brew the beer. The second scene shows 3 gentleman sitting around a table sampling the brew. One of them is holding a glass up checking the clarity. There is a rustic old wood floor and ornate wood paneling on the walls. The scene looks to be taking place in a pub, tavern or brewery setting. The third scene shows a gentleman sitting at a table holding a glass of brew. A lady is nearby doing chores. There is an old wood stove with a teapot resting on it. A table with a vase of flowers in the background. This looks to be a kitchen setting. All of these scenes have lovely ornate detail. There are large sunflower blossoms, arch borders at the top which are extremely ornate, ande much more seperating the scenes. Absolutely gorgeous detail! The lid on this stein is quite pretty. It is smooth with no detail. What gives it that special appeal is the smooth polished finish. See photos! The handle is heavy and sturdy. It is smooth with no detail. The flip on the lid is tall and scallop shaped. The base is wide and features a floral band. Just under the brim, there is a wide polished band suitable for engraving to commemorate that special occasion or holiday. This item will be a very appreciated treasure for its new owner.
