Around 5 to 6 years later it was being copied in America. I no way do I want to misrepresent the accuracy of the history of this instrument. It originally was a 6 keyed flute, however the short F key is missing and the hole is closed up. It is not a serious problem, but you should be aware of it. The pictures show the absence of the key. One other item is the end cap has been modified. You can see that as well in the pictures. It is always best that you know what your looking at and how it affects the value of the insrtument..
