I have no knowledge of musical instruments and the only reason I purchased it was that I was so impressed with its beautiful condition and rich patina. I have looked it over and can find no dings, dents or repairs. The only thing I see is wear to the finish, but I believe it adds, rather than detracts, to its appearance. I do not know how well it plays or whether it is actually an alto saxophone ( I only took a guess ). I have tried to provide numerous photos at various angles for you to make an assessment.
