Description
This beautiful Astral lamp, circa 1840, would be a beautiful addition to any period home. It is all original with the exception that it has been electrified. It has been in my family for over 60 years and is in excellant working condition. The lamp is 25" tall to the top of the shade and 27" tall to the top of the chimney. The cut and etched shade is 8" in dia and 8" high. There are 12 chrystal prisms 8" long. The lamp is brass with a beautiful Ruby to Clear thumbprint design cut on the column. The single tier white marble base is 5" square. A brass plate on the font is stamped with Archer and Warren, Philadelphia PA.
