It appears it was at one time a functioning water cooler and some kind of liquid dispenser, but now the harp shaped valve is fused closed. It has a great wooden finial on top of the lift of lid and a nice pair of figural handles with rings. The piece is mounted to an old wooden disc and measures about 8¾" tall. The piece is unmarked and in nice condition, but does have some denting. Neat old Victorian piece! Bidder pays $7.50 for shipping and handling via USPS Mail within the United States.
