Thanks to all who aided :-)  *Antique Gibson A1 Mandolin in great shape. The original label has penciled in the Serial number: 53296, which dates the mandolin to the early 1900's; quite possibly 1919. The pick guard says PAT.MAR.30.’09. The clamp that holds the pick guard says PAT. JULY 4, 1911. Produces great sound and the body is in great condition. The bottom of the mandolin body is in need of some repair. The edge of the body began to separate and was glued for temporary repair. Body as a whole is in unbelievable shape as that it only has the normal wear and tear from some use over the past 80+ years. Includes the original hard case which is also in good shape, as well as two full string sets (Elixir ultra thin NANOWEB light .010 - .034). Happy bidding! Place a Bid!
