This clock was made around 1870 in France. It will perfectly fit even every modern interior. The outstanding quality large dark patinated figures of Cupids makes this a much desired item. White marble base of the clock is ornate with gild bronze. The enamelled dial with Roman & Arabic numerals. Very nice original gild pierced hands. Dial is signed with: PH. RODEL a PARIS In the front of the dial is glass door window with bayonet joint. The French movement is in good working condition with 8 days going work and striking on the bronze bell at 1/1 and ½ hours. The movement is stamped by the clock maker: VINCENTI et Cie Med. D´ARGENT. Serial number 686.
