The Swiss invoice describes it as "one Morbyer clock from the French Franche-comte, in fir wood painted with decoration of flower garlands, hour and half-hour dial face enameled, dated 1889. Brass front window with a visible great pendulum." It was purchased from Jacques Haldy Antiquities in Montreaux at a wholesale value of 3500 Swiss francs ($2700). It's retail value was over $4000 in 2002. It measures 87" tall and is in good working condition, chiming on the hour and half-hour. It keeps good time and that  can be adjusted on the pendulum. It is a beautiful clock. It must be picked up in St. Michaels MD. We will not ship. Can be seen in St. Michaels by appointment.
