Touchmark John Warne in Blackfriars London Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 77.76 Time Left - Bid Count 11 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, September 01, 2008 End Time Monday, September 08, 2008 Location Michigan See more about 'Antique English Pewter Wine Pint Measure by John Warne' Description This is a beautiful Antique 19th Century English Victorian Pewter Wine Pint Measure.  It bears the "PINT" measure along with 'crown' above "VR" above "399" and the touchmark for John Warne of Blackfriars, London found on the inside bottom of the measure.  This scarce wine measure is in excellent condition with NO breaks and NO repairs and exhibiting an old polished patina.  The body of the measure is inscribed (what appears to be) "J. Wilson Warren House Bengeo, Herth" in script.  The handle and spout are perfectly solid as is the bottom which is in excellent condition and shows NO holes.  It stands approximately 4 1/4" high from the very nicely turned footed base to the rim and has a rim diameter of approximately 3 1/2".  Please take a moment to look at all of the photos, read the terms and conditions of the listing and feel free to email me with any questions.  Also, be sure to take a look at my other antique listings.  Thank you so much for your time and best of luck with your bids!!!
