Description
Pewter Salad Plate Description: This auction is for an Antique Pewter Plate measuring 8 1/2" in diameter. The front of the plate has a Royal Crown crest with 3 hearts. The reverse bears only a Crown and Rose quality mark but no touch marks as to who the maker may be. We are unsure of the age; we are assuming that the plate is antique due to the fact that every other piece that came in this collection was 18th century. I'm pretty sure this one is not that old, but I would venture a guess of at least late 19th century, if not earlier. Condition: Condition of plate is excellent! A few small dings and some light pitting on the back, but the front is very clean. No damage or restorations. Please see pictures below and feel free to ask questions.
