These spoons belonged to my grandmother.  I think they are cast pewter salt spoons.  Each spoon measures about 4-1/4" long x about 3/4" across the bowl.  The metal is very soft & they do bend easily.  They have a raised center spine on the front of the handles & a raised shell design on the back of the bowl.  They also have a design etched or engraved on the front of the handles & three "X" marks on the back of the handles, along with some other marks that I can't identify.  They do show some wear from age & use, but overall condition is very good.  Please click on the images below for a closer look. :: Payment Terms Payment, or arrangements for payment must be made within 5 days of auction close.  :: Shipping Terms We charge a handling fee of $1 to $5, depending on the size, weight & other special handling/packaging requirements of the item being shipped (the standard fee is $2.00 for shipments to US addresses; $3.00 for shipments to International addresses).
