It measures 44" wide, 44" high and 4" deep, and the mirrored glass measures approximately 19.5" wide and 15.5" high. We believe it is of Italian origin but the piece has no hallmarks. It dates from the late nineteenth century. Gilding and painted finish throughout appears to be original and there are no signs of repair or restoration. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
