Conn Double Bell Euphonium' Description This very old antique C.G. Conn Double Bell Euphonium has been in the family for many years.  I have played it many times in band concerts from my youth to my present age, (nearly 60).  It was made by Conn Ltd in Elkhart, Ind.  It is in the original case which shows a lot of wear but still very usable.  The small bell is detachable and is gold plated on the inside and is in wonderful shape.  Some areas of the instrument show its use and there are dents in the main body in areas but none of them affect its beauty or playability of this rare instrument.  All four valves work perfectly and have original, matching mother of pearl caps on them.  All tuning slides work well and have not been sprung or dented.  It has a Giardinelli of New York mouthpiece and it is a tenor in shank.  The marching music stand is still with it as well.  The plating is worn in high use areas but polished it still looks really nice especially for the age.  The serial number is 155279.  This is a great collectors piece or for someone who wants to play it as well.  According to the serial number anc Conn it should have been made between 1909 and 1910.  I will ship the instrument UPS to confirmed Paypal address.  The shipping cost includes $100 worth of insurance so if you want more we will have to include the extra charges for the shipping and insurance amount as listed.  Shipping is for the lower 48 U.S. States only.  If you have questions please ask if you are unsure of anything.On Sep-08-08 at 15:26:55 PDT, seller added the following information:JUST LOWERED THE RESERVE PRICE!
