The Box is quite LARGE, measuring approximately 5 1/4 inches across and 2 1/4 inches tall, and is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or damage to any of the Rococo design and the lid hinge and clasp work as they should. The only indication to the boxes age is some wear to the high point of the gilt decoration. I have seen hundreds of old dresser boxes, but to me, this is one of the largest and most attractive I have seen.
