Description Up for sale is an antique Baccarat paperweight with three luscious strawberries in various states of ripeness. The berries are attached to a green stem with seven leaves. There is one ripe-red strawberry, an almost ripe-pink strawberry, and a ripening-green strawberry. All of the strawberries have dark spots on them to portray seeds. The pink and red strawberries also have a white spot probably associated with where the colored glass did not completely cover the berry. This paperweight is scratch signed “Gisela Filipinas” and dated “May 1862”. The date is probably associated with a special occasion or when the weight was purchased. The paperweight was professionally restored, has a diameter of 3 inches, a dome height of 2inches, and a star-cut base.
