Description
This is a very very old Strado. violin in it's original wood case. The case has no cracks or breaks in it and no repairs on it. It has both of the flip type latches on the front of the lid that lock it very tighly together. Perfect hinge. No sloppy movement in it. The cardboard flap and cardboad piece on each side of the next need to be reglued some. As for this violin...........I doubt if you can find a nicer one that is used to be this nice on EBay right now. This only needs new strings and a new tail pice. The end hole for the one string has been broken. It is nothing to replace this. It also needs the bridge piece. All 4 tuner pegs are like new condition. There are no cracks or chips or major scratches on this instrument. Has most all of it's original finish on it still, This has no repair work on it. The label inside reads Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonenlis with Faciebat Anno 1736 under that,, and Germany at the bottom of the label. Also in th ecase are two wood bows. Both need to have new string on them. One is 28 7/8" long and the other is 27 1/2" long. Please note the excellent pearl in them. This is a great piece for any collection. I would like to be paid with good personal check or money order only. Please ask any questions before auction ends. Buyer to pay $20.00 shipping and handling. Thank you and .....Good Luck !!!
