The piano was maintained in a climate controlled smoke-free residential environment. This piano was build by the Miessner Piano Company, Milwaukee, WI - Serial Number 11690. This piano was one of the last pianos made by this company. They went out of business in the early 1930's. The piano is well known for its tonal characteristics, including a robust, resonant bass, rich and warm tenor and a treble with a singing tone, bell-like in its clarity. This piano was appraised at $ 1,450.00 on November 1, 2007 by the Bluebook of Pianos. The piano needs to be tuned. Costs of tuning this piano will run between $175 and $200. We covered the bench with padding and cloth. The padding and cloth can be easily removed. No delivery. Buyer must make all arrangements for shipping or pick up.
