' Description This 12 inch tall fragment of a Cyproclassical sculpture was purchased for a fairly high price at an Estate Sale years ago. My local auction house was unable to ascertain whether this is an original or a very old fake, but they thought it looks like it originated from Ancient Crete. They suggested that I ship it to London for analysis, but that is quite expensive to do. It has lots of wear. I am not sure whether this is stone, or clay. Used to be on a stand and there is still a hole from the metal rod at the bottom. Very heavy. Could be worth a lot of money. I am willing to consider serious offers.
