I’ve spent a lot of time building this collection and all items have been meticulously cared for.   Ancient Roman Bronze Ring. 100-300 AD.  This piece is an amazing, nearly museum quality relic. The quality of the design work is just incredible. An ancient artisan worked very hard to make this piece, and it shows.  Very desirable green patina.   The reason I must describe the item as "nearly" museum quality is a tiny, nearly imperceptible split in the bottom of the band.  Please see my feedback.  This is a fantastic relic.   My love for these items lies in holding them, viewing them and trying to feel the history. When I look at an item like this ring, I wonder who used it, when and for what purpose. Did a Roman General wear it while troops fell around him in battle? Did another artisan proudly wear it to advertise the work of a friend?
