This pot measures 10 1/2" tall. It is 9" from tip of spout to back of handle. This is a wonderful Victorian coffee pot or tea pot. The main body of the piece is white enamelware. The lid, handle, spout and rings are made of pewter. The pot is beautifully decorated on both sides with the same autumn still life of leaves and nuts and branches. With artwork on both sides, the pot was attractive from both sides of the table--then and now! And, for left handed servers, the decorations were not hidden when coffee was being served! The pewter trim is very elegantly done with great detail. A tiny beaded edge runs along the top. The top of the lid has a spindle motif worthy of a fine dining room cabinet. Even the spout has both an interesting shape and fluting along the spout. The decorations are both beautiful and unusual. Most of these pots featured spring or summer flowers. Fall, when a pot of hot coffee or tea are at their most appealing, is the season this pot celebrates! The effect is quite perfect for the season! The condition is excellent. There are no chips or breaks in the enamel.There have been no repairs to the enamel. The pewter has no breaks or repairs. This is an original piece, dating to the period. It is not a reproduction.
