Description shelby1 store Here is an antique brass tuba I am selling as-is, estate fresh, with no reserve. Marked U.S.A. LINE made by GRAND RAPIDS INST. CO. Grand Rapids Mich. USA (inside shield) with an engraved eagle above mark. Only other marking I can find are the numbers 1 - 2 - 3 below the valves with additional number 15503 on center valve. Mouthpiece marked EQUA TRU, H.N. WHITE CO. 28. Measures approx. 24 1/2" front to back x 15" top to bottom, horn or bell is 11 1/4" wide. Looks like all parts are present. There are scattered shallow dents and impacts to body (see pics) but looks to be in generally VERY GOOD condition. Has a great silver or nickel plated patina.
