The subject was derived from the Old Testament's narration of Moses who had a vision of the Bush that was burning but was safe in flame. This Bush was treated as the symbol of Immaculate Conception. The Mother of God is depicted in an eight beamed star The star consists of two squares. One of them is red as flame; another is green as the miraculous Bush. Symbols of four Evangelists and images of eight Archangels surround her. The Mother of God holds a ladder in her hand that symbolizes the way from Earth to Heaven that she had opened for the mankind.
