It has a few blemishes but not enough to distract from its beauty. It has a nice grayish patina, showing it is quite old. My camera is not picking up the grayish color. The Mark on the back is of an angel with a horn. We have seen this mark before on a 19th Century German Stein. This plate was purchased in Germany some years back. The plate measures 8 ¾” across.
