This is a brass beaker or cup dating to about 1750, the period of unification of the Indian subcontinent. It is 2 3/4" high and very skillfully brazed which was no easy feat without modern torches. The seam is visible inside only and of the lapped dove tail form used in colonial America at that same time. The outside is decorated with maidens dancing among foliage.
