We were inspired to do so by Robert Liu’s statement in Collectable Beads, that the average collector will be unable to own a single ancient bead.  Each is certified authentic. This is an Egyptian glass bead from the end of the Ramesside Period, about 1100 BC.  It is barrel shape and about 8 mm in diameter or 1/3".".  It is green which was among the most popular colors for the time. It is related to the glass spindle whorl identified to that period.
