The painting and frame is very old. We have estimated it is in the early 1800's, although I do not know the exact age or date. The flame mahogany frame is in great condition. The painting is signed. We have pictures of the signature, we are in hopes someone will recognize the signature. The colors are still bright and vivid. Although I do know it needs cleaned by a professional. There are no cuts or torn places on the canvas, there is a place where the paint is worn on the right hand side. The frame is in real good condition, however it does have some wear on the corners. The frame and painting weighs 10.5 pounds and measures 53.375 x 33.25 x 1.625.
